Government

The Hobgoblins run the only semblance of civilized life upon the surface of this realm. They have built fortified citadels in defensive locations in every part of the globe. Their system of governing is a intricate and direct chain of command. Each citadel ruled by three key leaders and the only Hobgoblins who hold the rank of general. These generals oversee the three functioning branches which envelope all of hobgoblin society; The metal, mystic, and mental branches. The branches separate and organize individual hobgoblins, and the command structure of each branch decides their jobs. Overall the Hobgoblin civilization boasts high quality of life, while still being seen as quite restrictive to the average visitor.

The rest of the world is wildlands, filled with goblin tribes who settle in burrows and nests more than what one would traditionally call a city. These goblin dens boast the largest concentration of life on Wunnos, and are often built around Green dragon hoards. The green dragons are quite fond of goblin trickery and antics, often keeping them around as jesters and pets. The green dragons rarely bother Hobgoblins directly with orders, but have been known to step in and defend goblin kind from Hobgoblin subjugation.

Population

The population of Wunnos is overwhelming goblin, however the strict organization of Hobgoblin kind prevents any hope of overwhelming them with numbers.

Languages

Goblin is spoken by all of the occupants of Wunnos. Most Hobgoblins are able to speak the common tongue, with generals learning High Common. However its rare for Goblins to speak more than broken common.

Religions

Worship of any deity or deific ideal is outlawed in all Hobgoblin settlements. They instead believe in the fulfillment of self, ones duties, and the success of individual actions.

Goblins however are quite varied in their worship. Some worship dragons directly, while others create depictions of deities and shrines that harbor on near heresy by dragon law. Many Goblins find great and powerful creatures among the wild lands to worship, making them very susceptible to the manipulations of conmen and monster alike. Hobgoblins take it upon themselves to destroy these false cults and depictions of gods, sometimes even slaying the "living gods" goblins build their communities around.

Threats

The greatest threat Wunnos faces is warfare. Hobgoblins are not keen on asking for assistance nor do they share resources, goblins prefer taking rather than bartering or buying goods. This has led to an ever constant battle of goblin raids on Hobgoblin trade caravans. These attacks are normally left to minor banditry, however there are multiple instances of major goblin retaliation after hobgoblins slew living deities, destroyed religious sites, or stole lands considered sacred by goblin tribes to claim the areas resources.

Other Characteristics

Wunnos is covered in flora of all types. Blooms of color cover the land in sweeping fields of flowers both beautiful and deadly. There are more poisons and herbs upon wunnos than all other realms combined. The primary export of Hobgoblin cities is the exotic plants, herbs, and poisons. However it is highly illegal to take any seed off of Wunnos, and fruits may never be taken to other realms. This is primarily due to the invasive nature of the plant life, it is incredibly dangerous to the other realms should one of these voracious plants dominate its surface.
