			its surface lie under large moving plates. The entire moon is a single living creature, who regularly births both [[Surki]] and other
			insectoid creatures who tend to its interworkings and act as ambassadors for its will. The cavern elves have long had druid groves
			inside the creature, and nurture the young insectoids within.

			The largest threat The Egg faces is domination of interested parties who would exploit their mastery of living material. The cavern
			elves keep the nature of the egg a secret, only passing down the knowledge of how to tend to and modify the living beings within the
			egg to the most trusted of acolytes. This has kept the egg safe from most threats, but it is not uncommon for pirates and mercenaries
			to arrive in order to abduct insectoids from the surface of the realm. These raiding parties are met with extreme violence if discovered
			making it a very profitable, although cruel, endeavor.
