Physical descriptor
A small doglike repitlian with draconic features. Generally small and short, with a few kobolds growing to larger size. The skin of a Kobold is colorful, and often varies from tribe to tribe. Each tribe is of a uniformed color and kobolds believe this to be tied to the draconic families. Kobolds have large mouths and heads.
Society
Kobolds are very tribal and feel deeply protective of their families. Rarely kobolds will venture away from their homes to find glory, but they always remember and often visit their old homes. Kobolds who lose their clans to tragedy never recover, often becoming depressed and losing much of their color. These bleached kobolds are known for becoming agitated and aggressive, sometimes even violent or mad.
Beliefs
Kobolds believe they were born from the blood of dragons. Each clan tracing its lineage to a great warrior of the Dracon wars. They embody the ideals of this dragon, and live in their honor. While most draconic studies into kobolds have not found them to have direct blood ties to any dragon family regardless of their color, this doesn't dissuade any kobold from believing fervently in their draconic nature.
