Mort

Morts are large gatherings to celebrate newly raised undead. These parties involve a gathering of the local community, in which they will bring cultural gifts and foods to share with the newly awakened. Often these parties are done immediately after the person's funeral. The new unlife can be a hard transition for most forms of undead, so having a warm celebration as the first steps into their new existence often softens the blow of the realization of their death.
