Dynasty of the Rose

Introduction

The golden dragons who make up this dynasty are well respected by mortal races, and even the other dragon flights. They have long taken the place of head leadership of the draconic council. They prefer peace and diplomacy, but historically have never hesitated to engage in warfare. they spend much of their time maintaining the delicate balance of peace between the realms, and the dragons who rule them. They prefer to be open about their dealings, straight forward with no underhanded tactics. This is a strength and weakness as other dragon flights often attempt to subvert their direct rulings with legal loop holes and manipulations of the mortals under them. Gold dragons are well known to be merciful to mortals, even those who break treaties or start wars.

Goal

The golden dragons main goal is to maintain peace, they engage with mortals and dragon kind alike with diplomacy. They work with the Dynasty of the open hand to reveal and prosecute spy craft, war mongering, and general disturbances to peace. The biggest reason for preventing wars among the realms is to keep great threats of the void from taking notice of grandiose uses of magic, loss of life, and divine influence.
