Endless Plane

The Endless Plane isn't one of the planes at all in the traditional sense of existence, instead it is easier defined by all of the things it isn't than the intricate weaving of everything and nothing all at once. It has no location to discern related to any other place, yet it is close enough to all other places to be reached from anywhere. Many have described it as the void, some have said its nothingness incarnate, while others believe it to be the origin of all physical and mental existences.

Regardless of how much truth any perspective holds, a few things are known about the endless plane. It is malleable; unlike physical planes which require the manipulation of their rules and physical laws the endless is a place with no pre conceived concepts. With effort, understanding and a lot of patience some are capable of creating things out of what would seem nothing in this place. While far beyond the average mortal, it was proven possible by multiple gods who have come to the endless for untold reasons.

The most recent intruders into the endless are the Ten Realms and the dragons who created them. The unified effort of a blessed people, the dragons came together to create an existence in their own imagining. Something to safeguard the mortals in their care. This ambitious project was an exercise in hubris, ingenuity, and desperation. The result is a stable ecosystem sitting far away from the prior troubles of mortal worlds, and many new Realms exposed at the edge of the endless.
