Surki vary in physical form greatly due to their specialized genetics. The Egg while most see it as a moon, is actually one great creature, filled with its own offspring and modified young that protect it and maintain a complicated ecosystem of magic consuming insectoids inside of their mother. This has lead to a specific breed of insectoid, the surki, who are vaguely humanoid in form, and capable of learning common speech.
