You might..

  • have strange dietary needs such as large amounts of plant matter, or raw meat.
  • find discomfort being around non sentient animals, as non evolved beasts don't exist on your realm.
  • have strange social behaviors such as extravagant dancing, roaring or snorting, or other relevant body languages.

Others probably..

  • find your body language excessive
  • assume you can speak to all animals
  • see predators who eat sentient species as threatening or dangerous
  • confuse various beastmen species as being the same people.

Physical descriptor

Beastmen's appearances are varied, their planet is filled with varying species that make up the entirety of the animalia in their home realm. They are as diverse as any realms ecology, however each has evolved into a fully sentient and cultured being.

Society

The civilized bastions of Gimmon are collectives of diverse species of beastmen. These cities act as unifiers across the continents of the realm, places where disputes between tribes can be settled in peace, and atrocities can be brought to trial before a court of beastmen peers. This is a right that is rarely invoked by the tribal leaders of the savage lands, and only in the most heinous of circumstances.

The rest of the realm is considered the savage lands. Sweeping wildscapes filled with tribes of beastmen all fighting for survival. They follow the Old Law, and believe in the long lived tradition of the strongest survive.

Beliefs

Beastmen have notoriously complicated and varying philosophies of life, however they are all united by one cultural belief that the fittest survive. All beastmen know their lives are gifts and they must live them to the fullest. They fight for their loved ones and tribes in mortal conflicts of survival between prey and predator. All the species of beastmen understand the circle of life and do not call for intervention when their warriors fall to the predator, and the predator does not hold a grudge for the prey that kills their aggressor. Mutual combat is respected, and only heinous acts of sadism are worthy of anger.
