Ufe's Ring

During The great expansion after the original settling of the planets, there grew an increasing food supply problem. the inhabitants of various planets had to adapt their normal habits and learn to work with the strange new seasons of the often mystical landscapes they settled. This caused a joining of treaties between the Halfling peoples of Murt and the Dwarven nations of Aetoc. The halflings new home, while bountiful in farmable soil, was filled with mystical pests and inhabitants. Large insects, violent troll tribes, and rampant wild beasts increased the halflings need for good steel. While the Dwarves subterranean planet and its scorched surface gave them a large need for wood and planted goods.

This treaty has lasted for over a thousand years, and was the foundation for the plans of Ufe's ring. An audacious project led by Master Stonesmith Ufe. His plans involved harvesting the asteroids using Comet Barges and taking the collected stone to create a large ring to circle Vux. This ring would be filled with fields and soil ready for planting and harvest. The construction has been underway for 224 years now, and ufes legacy lives on in the name of the Stonefoot clan. A family of halflings who now oversee the rings construction and current export of over 80% of the solar systems food goods.
